About Morning Sunshine Coffee
Ashley Davis has a lot of ambition. Starting with a small coffee shop in Warwick and quickly expanding to more stores around the country, Ashley has his eyes set on international domination. The UK is just the beginning. They also have a café in Kenilworth and a coffee van to keep them on the move – it’s easy to see why you should keep an eye on Ashley and his team.

Our Coffee
We use ‘Union Hand-Roasted Coffee’. In particular, Union’s signature blend ‘Revelation’ – a bold dark-roast with hints of treacle and cinnamon, with a rich caramel finish – served in a fully compostable cup and lid from Vegware.
Our coffee has an incredibly high score of 85/100 given by the SCA (Speciality Coffee Association). To put this into context, 60 points and above are considered commercial-grade, 85 & above is ‘outstanding speciality’. This is judged by the flavours notes, source chain transparency, direct trade etc.
Union Hand Roasted Coffee source & roast directly with farmers focusing on source chain transparency as their staple, paying fair wages & focusing on sustainability. This ensures its speciality standard with all Union’s coffee scoring 84+ on the SCAA’s International scale – the measurement of coffee quality across the market.
Union is world renowned company known for its award winning blends and its creation of ‘Union Direct Trade’.
Oh and did we mention they’re also a Bcorp Company!
Our Tea
For tea, we use ‘Brew Tea Co’ an elegant, bold, premium & fun company creating tea how it should be made: with 100% rolled leaves. Here, they focus on quality, with zero dust all blended & packed in Tea HQ in Manchester.
The menu consists of these whole-leaf teabags variations: English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Chai, CO2 Decaffeinated, Green Tea, Moroccan Mint, Lemon & Ginger, Fruit Punch and Jasmine Green.
Commitment to independents
We are passionate about working with the local community. Previously, we have worked with a local independent bakery (Haddie & Trilby) who focus on taste & quality, as well as Warwick Street Kitchen, a local independent (two staples of Leamington and Warwick).
We have found that Incorporating local, independent business into our product mix emphasises our commitment to the local community, builds a network of local businesses working together, whilst increasing exposure from and to new audiences.
Most importantly, it allows customers to buy their favourite local products within their daily commute.
We are currently setting up a partnership with ‘Bake House’ in Worcester town centre. A great favourite of the locals with an amazing reputation for quality homemade goods.
LATEST NEWS AND EVENTS
We’re massively community-driven, we get involved as much as we can by hosting events and running community days such as Dog walks for The Guide Dogs Association, Litterpicks monthly, community coffee mornings, Molly Olly charity drives and by supplying FREE female hygiene products in all bathrooms of our cafes.
